The prevalence of anxiety has risen significantly over the past decade. Symptoms include difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating on work or relationships, and feeling paralyzed when making decisions. Physical manifestations may involve elevated heart rate, sweating, high blood pressure, and breathing difficulties. Anxiety frequently coexists with depression, though some people experience only one.
