As a BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) Approved Clinical Supervisor (RCC-ACS), I offer individual and group clinical supervision to RCCs in Vancouver and across BC—with a focus on new registrants, experienced counsellors pursuing their own ACS designation, and clinicians building or transitioning to private practice.
My background combines clinical training with an MBA in Leadership and many years as a small business owner. My approach is empathetic and direct, and grounded in the practical realities of running a sustainable counselling practice.
What Is a BCACC ACS?
The Approved Clinical Supervisor designation is granted by the BCACC to experienced RCCs who meet specific standards in training, education, and supervised practice. It is widely considered the gold standard of clinical supervision in British Columbia.
An RCC ACS is qualified to:
- Provide formal clinical supervision that counts toward BCACC registration and designation requirements
- Offer evaluative and developmental feedback on client cases
- Support supervisees in meeting ethical and professional practice standards
- Mentor clinicians through complex clinical presentations and professional transitions
Not every supervisor carries the ACS designation—choosing one who does means your supervision hours are recognized by BCACC and grounded in a framework that meets the profession’s highest standards.
Who I Work With
New RCCs Building Confidence and Competence
The first years of practice can feel isolating, especially when you’re holding complex client material without the built-in support of a training program. Supervision provides a structured, confidential space to process your cases, strengthen your clinical thinking, and develop the grounded confidence that comes from working with an experienced mentor.
RCCs Considering or Transitioning to Private Practice
Making the move to private practice involves more than clinical skill — it requires business literacy, an understanding of referral networks, fee structures, informed consent practices, and the administrative realities of running your own caseload. My business degree and background means I can offer supervision that bridges the clinical and practical sides of building a sustainable, ethical private practice.
RCCs Working Toward Their Own ACS Designation
If you’re pursuing your ACS designation through BCACC, you’ll need documented supervision hours with a qualified ACS. I can provide the individual supervision hours required as part of that process, and I’m experienced in supporting clinicians as they develop into supervisory roles themselves.
Individual and Group Supervision Options
I offer two clinical supervision options to meet different needs and learning styles:
Individual supervision offers a private, focused space tailored entirely to your caseload, professional goals, and current developmental edge. It’s well-suited for clinicians who want personalized mentorship or who are working through a specific clinical or professional challenge.
Group supervision creates a collaborative learning environment where RCCs can learn from one another’s cases, reduce professional isolation, and build collegial relationships all under the guidance of an ACS. I also facilitate group and individual supervision for practicum students through No Fear Counselling.
Why Clinical Supervision Matters
Supervision isn’t just a requirement to tick off. Done well, it strengthens your clinical competence, protects your clients, and sustains you as a practitioner over the long term.
It’s where theory meets the complexity of real client work, and where ethical dilemmas get the thoughtful attention they deserve.
Working with a BCACC-ACS means your supervision is:
- Credentialed and recognized – hours with an ACS count toward BCACC requirements
- Ethically grounded – ACS supervisors are held to BCACC’s standards of practice
- Developmentally informed – ACS training equips supervisors to meet clinicians where they are and support meaningful growth
I believe the quality of supervision you receive shapes the quality of care your clients receive.
Ready to Work Together?
I’m currently accepting new supervisees for both individual and group supervision. If you’re an RCC in Vancouver or working virtually across BC, I’d love to connect.
Whether you’re just starting out, building your own practice, or working toward your ACS designation, I’m here to support the next chapter of your professional journey.
