Connect Parenting is a 10-week program developed to support parents and caregivers (all genders) of pre-teens and teens with emotional and/or behavioural problems. Parents meet in small groups with trained group leaders each week. Sessions will provide parents and caregivers with a new perspective on adolescent development and parent-teen relationships.
The workshop recognizes that each parent is different. Rather than teaching one way of parenting, Connect Parenting helps caregivers see alternatives in dealing with teens in ways which support healthy relationships while setting limits and helping your teen to move forward.
